ArtPrize 2013: $22 Million Impact From 389,400 Visits to Grand Rapids for Fifth Exhibition

ArtPrize 2013 drew more than 389,400 visits and had a $22 million economic impact on Grand Rapids, according to an economic impact study.

The study commissioned by Experience Grand Rapids determined attendance increased 20 percent over ArtPrize 2011, and the economic impact of fifth annual exhibition and $560,000 competition rose 43 percent over two years, according to Anderson Economic Group, of East Lansing.
